Doubt Voltage Nissan B13 Motor Ga16de Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends.
I write to you because I am with problems. I have a Nissan B13 (V16 in Chile) with GA16DE engine, which was stopped 3 years. I just adjusted the engine, and part, but the mixture is too rich ... and Bencina comes out without burning the escape. When we just tried to start we realized my dad that the flow meter had the split resistance, so my dad bought an alternative. I tried varying the synchronization of the distribution chain, I advanced and delayed a tooth ... and it was for the worse, so it is not that he is badly dragging. I cleaned the IAC, the water ducts that heated the air regulator, I adjusted the TPS as recommended in other forums (something like 0.45V in idle).
Well ... to what came. I would like to know if any of you knows the voltage that the flowmeter must deliver, both with the open and motor contact off, and in idle ... and if you know the range in which you must work. I only found in the GA16DNE engine manual, and said something between 0.8 and 1v with open contact ... but the problem is that the alternative flow that we buy delivers something like 11v in idle, and goes up as up to 13.5 when accelerating, and I suspect that my problem goes there.
I already appreciate your time.

Hello Maurocont, with respect to the TPS, a calibration with closed butterfly, connected tps and open contact. The higher voltage you get better engine response, but the combination economy decreases. On the contrary to less voltage better economy I leave it at 0.45v. This same Nissan Ga16de threw the benzine, in this case the MAF had been disoldening a pin that connects the sensor plug making it fail, it welds it, and ready. The strange thing that ECU did not throw any fault. I send you some photos.

I have a question when you say that it throws you fuel for the escape you mean that a lot of smell is coming out or that it beats by it, is monkey point?

It throws benzine smoke without being completely burned. In addition the engine is drowned, and the spark plugs come out black, by the benzine without burn. It is multipoint. Greetings!

Thank you very much for your answer, I will review the unused cable, although I think that on that side everything is ok, since I have been making measurements and experiments. I think that my problem is in the alternative MAF that we buy, since it delivers about 11.3v in idle. Thanks for the photo you sent me.
Greetings!!
