Compression Ossa Phantom 250 posted by Manual-Mecanica
Hello very good to all, it is the first time I enter here and I hope you can help me, thank you all in advance.

Well, you will see a 250 cc Ossa Phantom, they told me a technique called "squish" that serves to check the distance between piston and the combustion camera, in a 250 the distance can not lower from 1 mm, mine with ack joint exceeds 2mm, without the joint more than 1mm, my question is, if I remove the brown joint still will have that margin. Motor without the Board, even while being very sure that the piston does not touch in the butt?
I await your answer thanks.

The Board is necessary, the compression would be escaped if you do not put it.
I do not know that engine, but normally what is done is to take the cylinder head to plan and there are removed 1, 2 or 0'1 what you need and if a casual you spend you mounted the joint 2 or 3 that are thicker.

Alex finds out if you get bronze packaging, or you can do it yourself if you get a piece of sheet, the bronze is moldable fits perfectly, I have done it with a 350 chevrolet engine for pikes and seal perfect, remember to paint the joint with acrylic paint to seal better test with that

Bata is right, I have done it for joints of deep civic and mitsubishis and they walk blows but you should put together if you do not lose comprehensive and you will have many problems with oil leaks and it will be a mess.
