High rpm cold engine published by manual-mecanica
, it is on a Ford Focus 1.6 gasoline 100cv, it is the 8 Zetec valves of 2003,
it accelerates in cold a barbarity almost 2000 rpm in 7/8 minutes is stabilized at 900/800 rpm when cooling the engine a couple of hours to start it and again, they have changed it again, they have changed it again, Butterfly position sensor, cylinder head sensor (this model is mounted on the cylinder head between the low), new spark plugs /Motable Motorcraft cables, Bosch coil, a professional Scanner, does not give any error this is doing as 6 months ago, previously perfect it accelerated a little cold cold, but at 1000 rpm little more, at minute approx. It stabilized perfect, apart and noticed that consumes much more, logical every day when starting 2000 rpm, the mechanic as he says can continue to be tested with Lamda / thermostat probe / I have spent 400 € and nothing!
AAA A VIED BODY BODY CLEANING AND POSSIBLE LEAKS, REAPPREDED ADMISSION collector and do not explain it, thanks for reading my odyssey, greetings to all;)

Manual-mecanica response on the topic High RPM engine in cold
I measure the gasoline pressure on the ramp, (already by ruling out the regulator) in progress and then stopped, lest you have the regulator stuck until it is heated (unlikely), or that the injectors in cold do not close well (when you will see it you will see a significant drop in pressure). Anyway, do not comment if you have checked/changed the MAF and its air temperature probe ... greetings !!

But here the idle engine was not proven, it is the actuator that handles the slow and cushioned the revolutions, in this model it varies a lot in the marks, you would have to buy an original that is Motorcraft brand of for for for I have already had those problems but to repair the one that you have passing a male to the regulation screw and with patience, put a screw so that it can be regulated, since the screw that is plastic attached with locite and destroys when you want to regulate it
