Blue smoke by accelerating published by manual-mecanica
Hello Friends of Manuals I have a problem, a few months ago I bought a Golf A2 Model 87 that etched from one side and I have been repairing it, the vehicle spent a year stopped to the interjar and according to I commented that before the crash it locked it for a year without making the tuning my question is, could it be that the smoke comes out because the seals of valve are damaged? I have not yet done the tuning only the spare parts of the carburetor is a two -throat bucher and the engine is 1.8 someone could help me in advance thanks

The oil smoke after so much has without walking could be desirred that it is almost normal, I recommend you walk it before making a repair, since the metals and the gums must adapt to their position if this does not work, you will have to take out the cylinder head and check the status of the rings, or test with a short additive smoke.

I would recommend that Cecaras not be mixed by the oil with antifreeze since in those engines it is common to be the bowl of wood engine due to the use of water instead of antifreeze and if so, so it is sending you a lot of blue. And if not, you have what they recommended us and time will say.

hello, good afternoon.
According to my opinion, I think the problem could be in the piston rings, since the advanced time out of service can cause the rings to be stuck and take time to adapt to normal operating and temperature conditions. You could measure the engine compression and apply some type of lubricant through the spark plugs, if it is not eliminated when walking for some time is an echo that you must disarm the engine.
luck...
