McPherson buffer posted by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I am taking the front shock absorber to a Mazda 626 and it is almost ready, but the upper nut is missing with the shock absorber, I have already managed to turn it but I reach a point where I can not grab it anymore, I have also tried by making lever to take out the nut but does not come out, any more advice of how to get that nut thank you very much

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: McPherson shock absorber
hi how are things.
In certain occasions this happens, but most of the shock absorbers bring a system at the tip of the axis that with the appropriate tools can be locked and released, but if the shock absorber will be replaced you can hold it with a "fall" tool from the vastago to be able to replace it.
luck...

It is true what Victor says, but be very careful with the spring, make sure that it is well tied, firmly consistent with claws or the tool you possess because if it jumps you can do a lot but much damage, and the new one you cannot affirm it with caiman only the biejo because if it does not work.
