Spark Battery Published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a 2005 Chevrolet Spark, I bought the Chevrolet's battery for more or less a year and a half, I took it to the workshop to change the guales of the gear lever and when the mecñnico went out to do the test, he told me that he had varied. When reviewing he told me that the battery took out his hand. What is strange to me is that the mechanic has been damaged but I ask the forum, how much approximate time a battery can last and what maintenance must be done? How often? I say it because in this year and a half I never did anything to the battery and I had only traveled 25,000km and only twice it was downloaded because I left the lights on. Thank you.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Battery Spark
The useful life of a normal battery is around 2 years, no maintenance should be enabled but reviewing the level of the base, the fact that it is discharged and then returns to life also shortens its useful life. What is not clear to me is because they say that it is the battery, according to what I understood, your mechanic was stopped by the vehicle walking or not? If your answer is yes, nothing has to do with the battery but the alternator.
