The Motorland Aragon facilities will host in August 2013 the XX World Meeting of 2CV Friends, the largest concentration of Citroën 2CV in the world.
This event is celebrated every 2 years since 1975 and has already been developed in Finland (2), Switzerland (2), Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal, France (2), Slovenia, Netherlands, Greece, Austria, Italy, Scotland, Sweden and Czech Republic.
In 2013, the facilities of Motorland Aragón will arrive for the first time, the place chosen for the development of this concentration.
Activities
The event will turn around the theme of the competition: 2CV Cross race in the Autocross Circuit, 2CV Racing race on the F1 track, Exhibition 2CV 4x4 and 2CV RAID. At the same time, the Mounting and Disassembly Records of 2CV Automobiles, in less than an hour and of the maximum number of people within a 2CV (24) will be to beat.
During the day, a museum will exhibit the various models manufactured in Vigo, typical of the Spanish market. A mechanical workshop and a spare parts sale will assure all participants a perfect stay and a good return trip. Several tourist routes will be proposed to discover the various areas of the region. Night concerts will complete the party that will culminate with the election of the organizing country in 2017.
