Friends, I have a problem, I can't locate where the ECU of Ranger 2.8 TDI (Power Stroke engine) is installed. It is urgent to know where it is, since I need to perform a maintenance and cleaning work of the connection pins. Any help will be crapped. hugs.-

Hello, the Ranger 2.8 does not have ECU, it has a totally conventional rotary pump, the only thing it has is an electro stop valve located in the injection pump, it has a cable that gives a 12V current to the electro valve when the truck is in contact or start, and when one closes the contact short the current so that the engine stops. If this were a Ranger 3.0, it has a Common Rail Siemens system and the ECU is in the vain motor, attached to the short fire on the right side and has 3 chips with very fine pins. See attached file
