Mitsubishi Galant 2000 fault published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello my problem is that my mitsubishi galant is 2000 2.4 Lt when a low cost to 40mph goes up and it feels that you want to turn off, in the plain if I am very detained when starting you want to turn off (as you drowned). I change the oxygen sensor, the Catalitical, the spark plugs, clean the injectors, change the gasoline filter, the Valve PCV, the EGR Valve, the air filter. I really don't know what the problem is. The car uses it to work and it is two hours to go and two to turn to my house. The maintenance of oil change is always a day. If someone can help me, I appreciate it with a heart. Thank you very much and good day.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the subject Mitsubishi Galant 2000 fails
I had the opportunity to fix a 99 galant with the same engine and similar symptoms. The problem was air entrance by broken suction hoses and the dirty contact disk of the rider position sensor (Crankshaft Position Sensor). That Edta sensor located by the whisper pulley and to clean the disc you must remove the pulley and the covers of the time strap.

That is a general answer. To give you a more specific help, I would need more details of how the problem began, what type of maintenance since time intervals have made you prior to what you mentioned, and usual problems such as if the engine loses you oil.

Thanks Vocho1974, I am going to treat it tomorrow, because I had some suspicion that the sensor was dirty because the car was lichening me coolant on that side, but the sensor is new too. I really thank you very much and let you know.
