Long cold on

I need collaboration in the following problem:
I have a VOLSKWAGEN TRANSPORTER TRUCK MODEL 2009 DIESEL MOTOR 1896 CC, the distribution strap was burst or damage and for which the valves that tortcio all were changed, after this arrangement the ignition in the morning hours and in cold it becomes very long, lost strength and the torque revolution could be? thank you
