BMW 320 D E46 alternative problems

Good morning, I have an alternator problem BMW 320. Monte two years ago one of exchange, I got a battery light lowered it and cleaning it and drying it in a month. I put another and hard 10 km. Each alternator who puts shortly begins to blink the battery light until it is fixed and without producing.
I need some indication where the subject can go.

Hi Pacorral, I would review the Escobillas of the alternator to see that they are not spent, also re -apprehend the diode bridge, and its wiring, not rule out a starter motor problem that is deriving the battery to dough. Greetings!!

Hello everyone, Pacorral, according to what you expresses in your post, each alternator that places in the car fails, therefore my opinion is that it should not be the internal problem of the alternator. From my experience in BMW, I recommend checking connections to mass or ground to chassis. If this mass is not correct the temperature of the alternator, it rises more than recommendable and failures are produced early. The other thing I have observed are problems with the installation of audio amplifiers, etc., a lot of consumption. Many times this excess of electrical consumption also affects the alternator, generating excess heat in this, apart from that it already heats up when they are behind the radiators. Additionally, do I recommend checking connections to the battery to the chassis. Ultimate do you have problems with the starting engine? Hello everyone, forgive to take so long to respond. I have looked at all the masses and electrical connections outside alternator and apparently they are correct. The starter engine does not fail and the battery is not downloaded. In the end I have put another alternator and in these two weeks it seems that there is no problem ... for the moment.
