Hello everyone, as I see that it is an interesting topic, and well said what the partner AFTGM says, it is, the pair with the dynamometric "approximates" the tightening of all the screws, but the real tightening is the angles that are applied to the screw to take them to an index of the screw elasticity that is calculated by the manufacturer. As in cold, and thus prevent them from loosening when the engine is cold.
If this "elastic index" is exceeded by excessive tightening, engine warm, etc ... The screw is unusable to lose that elasticity, from there that they recommend measuring the screws when they are disassembled to see if they can be used again (whenever they have not "grown" in length). Greetings!!!

Hello everyone wanted to give my opinion to the subject. I have been in the mechanics sector for more than 10 years and always the dynamometric present in the workshops that I worked and the autodata in book and then later in CD. Always used nm by which autodata facilitates those tightening pairs and the dynamometric that I used always carry feet and nm.

I do not know, I see it a bit radical to include all professionals, as they do not know that it is a dynamometric.

I also add that dynamometric is not a key of loosening screws for my taste for my taste for tightening. If you use it only for NM and grades with a normal key, the dynamometric can last for years and when you take it to calibrate you will tell you that it is perfect.

Friend Igryo, I apologize because I see that you have misunderstood my post. In the say "professionals have it forgotten because it is faster to tighten a nut with a normal key than to look at tables and put measures"
of course that professionals know all the dynamometric and use it when necessary.

Another thing is the hurry that the owner of the workshop, or whoever puts to get the job in a certain time.

To change a cylinder head, dynamometric is used, but in all manuals, all screws (even those of the wheels) have a torque. You cannot squeeze all the screws to the torque indicating the manual because a 2 -hour repair would mean 1 day of work.

Do not be offended because I repeat that words were not that you do not know the dynamometric but that you only use them when it is extractically necessary. Greetings
