dose and EGR in Diesel published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone, this is a question that I have been doing for some time to see if any of you know something about the subject and serve as clarification, the question is: knowing if the engine needs a lower dosing when the EGR is open, or on the contrary ... or the dose is independent of the EGR operation and does not affect the recirculation of gases both as for varying the dosing ... All these questions come after having annulled the EG , no temperature increase in the refigentant, but surely if the temperature of the exhaust gas is greater, since the catalyst housing has changed color ... Nor does consumption or decreased increase, the exhaust ducts of the cylinder: HUH: head (Especially for the topic of grease ..), Although the engine is going very well, I will undo the changes (and again dirty the admission) open the step to the EGR, because I am not sure that it would happen to the oil or the catalyst with such a temperature in escape ... Ideas/opinions are appreciated ... Greetings !!!

Manual-Mecanica response on the dose and egr in diesel
Huy fuck because I have been asking that question TB and a lot. Here we usually do what you did friend. Here we are at a height of 3600 to 4000 meters SNM here is one engine heats more by the honeycomb that the copches carry in the multiple we cancel it because I have seen several cases that here is melted and comes to cover the entire escape system. A About your question because look that I tb Esoty in Klas themselves but here we do what you do and does not influence the long -term operation of the:) ami engine seem:)

Manual-Mecanica response on the dose and egr in diesel
If there at this sure altitude that it is better to have the EGR removed so that the more oxygen (it is known that there is less at more height) and surely it is better, but I did not mean to remove the "honeycomb", the thing seems that when annulled the EGR the flow rate measures more input of air (or that I have understood) but I am not sure that it does with the injection, if it enriches or impoverishes, it must be "contradiction", EGR opening and more air input measure which, more dirt in the engine (cylinder head, ducts ..) In addition to leaving the oil made one because it in a few km ... for the subject of consumption, practically the same. Knowing that the most at first glance seems to be canceled the EGR, but; Will the turbo lubricate well with the highest gas temperature?
Will "the honeycomb" of the catalyst be affected by an excess temperature? And the escape valves? Will the oil work well in those conditions ..? How many questions !! For a thing that seems to be simple. Greetings!!!
