Doubt about the EGR vulvula of Uun Grand Am 2001 published by Manual-Mecanica

Good afternoon partners, I have a question about my Grand Am 2001 is 2.4.
What happens is that my car is a bit (quite) trembling in idle. I already clean the IAC valve and the acceleration body, but it remains the same. Well, the joke is that they told me to check the EGR valve, but I can't find it where it is supposed to be. My question is: where is the EGR valve in the engine of my car or does not carry?

I attach an image of where the valve should carry but in my engine there is nothing like that. Only the holes are in my engine as if they had removed the valve and the base of the valve.

Two things can happen, or your model does not bring it from Fàbrica or they were removed, if it has the space to install it they have eliminated it but the exhaust multiple must be entirely.

Then they took it away, because it has the space available in the engine, it even has the holes where the screws should be installed.

Well, in that case, in which it would affect not bringing it? I do not mark any light on the board and so far I had not noticed its absence.

Do you recommend reinstalling it?

The function of the EGR is to introduce exhaust gases into the admission to lower the temperature of the combustion Càmara and thereby avoid the formation of nitrous Òxid Lighting Check's light, it's one less problem.
I have a question that I want you to check, you say that the holes of the assembly screws are, but the two pierces of gas passage as it is in the diagram you put, they covered them or are not ??
Also see if you see the elèctric connector that goes in the vàlvula.
