Greetings to all. I have an Automatic Elantra Hyundai 1.8 when accelerating drown, just starting. I change spark plugs, cables, oxygen sensors, computer, air meter, air and fuel filters, but the prob continues. It seems to me that the chain of cam trees is very loose. Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Hyundai Elantra theme with a problem
Well, apparently, a tooth is advanced or trained, due to the diagnosis of the time band that you give it is very likely that a tooth of the camshaft gear has been skipped, check how tempered that band is and take the discourse to change it and thus for time the engine, very sure that this is your problem ..

Greetings from Honduras Centro America: Laugh:

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Hyundai Elantra theme with a problem
Hello, it is highly advisable to test the automatic transmission; I have noticed this problem in relation to the torque converter, it can be losing pressure, consult with a technician; Who can tell a route test and discard it. GREETINGS... :)

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Hyundai Elantra theme with a problem
This RPM oscillation problem is most likely on the ISC or IAAC valve, this is the actuator in charge of regulating the minimum motor march, when it is dirty does not allow enough air to pass and not recover RPM when the air conditioning operates, so the tendency to go out.
And the air conditioning if it tends to subtract some force from the engine but when it is very notable the best would be to disassemble the compressor and check bearings and friction between the pistons and the electrical clutch, if any of these components tend to stop the compressor the engine loses more strength.
If the electrical circuit of your air conditioning is not the original and the air conditioning always this active also subtracts strength but only in the start.

luck!!
