Help with Ibiza 1.9 D 1995 Urgent! Posted by manual-mecanica
Good partners, the other day I put the distribution to my Ibiza 1.9 D 1995, and when making it, it is seen that my belt was moving and it happened. And now I have the point of the crankshaft by one point, the point of the cams for another, the point of the pump on the other ... I have another equal engine and I have set myself and put the distribution the same and when starting it does not start me, that is because the crankshaft had it just the opposite, .... help please .... when I looked at the other engine, when I carry one of the cylinders Know when those valves step on what are the cylinders above.

Help please, I am very urgent that I have the car stopped. all the best

I believe that you have the campaign in PMS of the cylinder number 1 you have to have at crossing the valves of 4 or 1, if in compretion 4.

Then I will describe step by step the disassembly, assembly and draft of the distribution of that engine:

Disassembly:

Remove the air filter, the auxiliary drag straps, the water pump pulley, the pump pulley from the assisted steering (if necessary), the cylinder head cover, the upper cover of the distribution (num 1), the screws of the crankshaft pulley (4 screws num 2), the crankshaft pulley (num 3), and the lower cover of the distribution (num 4).

Then turn the crankshaft until cylinder 1 (distribution side) is in PMS (upper dead point) and compression (the tips of the cams upwards).

Then we will check in the inertia steering wheel if the reference mark is faced (No. 5). And we will proceed to insert a platerine in the slot that is in the back of the camshaft, so that this blocked the tree against the upper plane of the cylinder head. (No. 6).

Then, you have to insert a pin into the injection pump pulley to keep the pump draft, (num 7) (I usually put a glass of small carraca, I do not know if 10, 11 ...).

Loosen the tensioner nut (no 8) And turn it to the Izquerda to remove the strap roller, press the nut again, not much to keep the roller still at the moment until you have to tighten the new one.

To mount it again, it operates in the opposite direction to disassembly, making sure that the blocking supplies and that the crankshaft mark in the inertia steering wheel coincides. According to the Autodata, you have to loosen the central screw of the camshaft (num 9) and hit the tip of the asparagus to release the pulley cone proceed to the draft of it with tensiometer in the distribution strap.

I personally do not, I just put the belt in the corresponding tooth of the camshaft pulley already tensioned until the tree rotates slightly and releases the plath, that way it is exactly the same as it was before removing the old strap.

Greetings and I hope it helps you.
