Grand Voyager 96 posted by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone.
I just scanned a Grand Voyager 96 and I throw errors with the MAP sensor and the Cigüñal; Someone can guide me about how I should proceed please, since the truck does not present any problem, it works very well, I only think that you spend further gasoline.
Greetings to all and thanks.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Grand Voyager 96
hello, good afternoon.
I am reading your question and I would like to know some more information. As for example if you turn on the alert light "Check Engine" or why you decided to make a scanner. The MAP and MAP sensor are sensors that work to increase or decrease the amount of fuel and the crankshaft sensor is to detect its position. If the crankshaft sensor failed in such a way the vehicle may not turn on. I await an answer.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Grand Voyager 96
Hello and thanks for your prompt response.
I decided to scan it because the focus of the alert you tell me does not work or is disconnected, since it never turns on. I think that the previous owner disconnects it, I just acquired the truck, but I see that he pulls very well, lights without problems, does not pull, nor accelerate, much less goes out, but I think he spends a lot of gasoline.
Do you think it is necessary to replace the MAP sensor or can it be cleaned or adjusted? Another thing I am going to do in these days is to refine it, I don't know if this helps, but I think it does not do it.
Greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Grand Voyager 96
hello.
Now I understand your concern. Regarding the light check Engine you can verify if it really has it or the ampoule is burned on the board. and the idea of making a lower preventive maintenance is the most logical and prudent to initially perform. Do it and then tell us the results.
