F8Q engine posted by manual-mecanica
Hello someone can give me your opinion, I tell you I have a traffic with f8q diesel engine, and raise oil through the gas decanter and continue through the hose to the multiple of admission in which the oil is together, it is not a large amount, is it normal? My mechanic says that it is the problem of the cylinder cover consults with another mechanic and tells me that it is for the problem of hoops, someone gives me your opinion thanks ....

Normally I know due to rings problem, this is because having a lot of wear and tear, the hoop does not compress well or there is no good seal between the hoop and the cylinder, this compression that escapes passes between the hoops and goes to the gase's carter which are the ones that rise through the gase breathing and then deposit in the form of oil in the admission. With this you have to be very careful because when it lifts a lot of oil towards the admission, the diesel engine can make a light on with this oil and go around, that is, it accelerates in depth alone. In case that happens to you (I hope you don't), put a long and long change the clutch with the brake on the brake, it will be the only way to stop it, otherwise until the engine oil is finished, it will remain accelerated thoroughly and by the time you stop you will have the molten engine.
My advice is that you disassemble it as soon as possible, measure the cylinders see wear and repair the engine, it is the best option, well I hope I have helped, a hug
