Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Loss of power in Megane 1.9DCI 2001
Whether it is for a false contact and for a sensor failure, the switchboard should be shown, although that is relative depending on whatever sensor.
If it is a sensor that captures at the time, but it measures again and there is no failure, it should not show failure, although it is rare, since the breakdowns should be recorded somewhere.
When losing it should not be from the ramp pressure sensor, because in that case a caudalimetro failure would seem more or less.
It can actually be even some sensor in the high pump.
Perhaps the amount of injection or something, but it can even be one of the injector codes, although I do not think it is too likely, because in that case I would not even turn on, although there are cases that do light, but simply fail.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Loss of power in Megane 1.9DCI 2001
Hi Chabier0,
the problem is rare, as Nuky tells you the failure must be registered in memory.
We need to prove something that seems is the only thing you have not done: verify that the fuel tank has air input, prove your machine with the loose tank lid, because it may not enter air to occupy the space left by the fuel that comes out, an empty is formed that for the exit of the fuel.
LUCK
MIGUEL.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Loss of power in Megane 1.9DCI 2001
I have a 1.9 dt, it has nothing to do with yours, but it gives me problems, especially when the slopes accelerates, throw smoke and lose power. I think it is an air intake in the diesel circuit because in standing when accelerating sometimes I see air bubbles in the tube that enters the pump. I tell you if it were something similar and it can help you. The problem that I have is that I have changed the pipe, I even put a filter of another superior model and I am not able to correct the air intake continues to fail when it comes out of my noses. Greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Loss of power in Megane 1.9DCI 2001
Thank you all:

I comment on the subject, but it will be little help.
After taking it to other workshops they directed another confidence of my usual workshop.
They saw nothing, but when wearing it for the 2nd time after two days, the switchboard referring to the EGR and injectors began to mark errors.
The car continued with the mimso symptoms, but marked errors (possibly the general failure was another).
They cleaned the EGR and took out the entire possible carbon from the collector that was almost stuck.
They budgeted me about € 1000 to rectify the cylinder head, so, after two weeks of going correctly (without the engine drowning) and that the "ailments" returned, I took the car to the scrap, although they offered me money for it (in this state ¿??).
Now I carry a Seat Exeo 2.0 TDI, which I hope you have a better life. At least I trust its mechanics and chassis, since it is a chassis and a well -known platform (A4B7).
My previous Megane went wonderfully, but with this one, although I think that there are always exceptions in all families and that I was not lucky, I could see that Renault's service in Zaragoza is not at all in line with the professionalism that is presupposed to an official post -sale service

I thank you all for your help. I hope to return the favor.

Did you sell it ??? Because apparently your problem was in your fuel pump, and fuel pumps when they fail them do not mark the vehicle's ecm ... !!
