Manual-Mecanica Response on the Fiat Marea 1.9
Hello, as we continue to answer so long, I'm afraid that the car will be in the scrapping.
I do not mean that you put a JTD engine, I say that you sell yours and buy a JTD, but if you find a TD 75 you can put it without problems.
If you do not have an oil leakage through the swing cover or the oil decanter is full, the safest thing is that you have the turbo badly, that is easy to know, remove the lower sleeve of the intercooler and if it is full of oil it is the turbo is the turbo

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Fiat Marea 1.9
Thank you very much, I will. If it is the turbo I will change it, although I also tell you that I have heard comments that this engine is not so bad and that is why your comment has caught my attention.
Greetings and thank you very much.
Pd- I think it was the engine problem, I already looked at me and put an engine at 250 euros plus the workforce, clearly used, so if it is the turbo I suppose they would get it cheaper.

You are welcome.
I guess those who tell you that it is not so bad they did not see as many damaged as me

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Fiat Marea 1.9
Well, I suppose you are right Brunocom, but I have luckily or misfortune I have to touch many cars I will tell you that the Fiat do not usually go bad, what if there is much "first driver", some annecdote could tell you. In fact, I have one that is familiar, and that he never touched a diesel, he does not respect even that this cold is flattened to step on him without compassion, the same did with his gasoline, his luck is that he changes with 80000kms and 12 to 13 years, so apparently well, but you take him to the workshop and the 2000 euros do not take them away from you anyone.
I am one of those who think that whoever wants a sporting needs a gasoline, and who goes calm any car is worth it, as is my case. But what I see on the people's road with TDIS, HDIS, JTDS, to all milk often tells me that everything will be problems in a short time. Greetings and thank you very much.

After 14 years in Fiat I can tell you that they are good cars and the JTD diesel is the best in the market, that some drivers do not know how to take care of an engine, but I also tell you that Fiat, like all brands, also leaves bad models, very few, but they leave and I get at least 2 models and several engines.
