Hello, I work in a big workshop in Greater Buenos Aires. Here we used the old SPC 960 until 2009. As the post -sale support of that scanner is bad and also 2 times that we had problems with the team and we had to send it repaired us (even the 1 time was in guarantee, but they told us that something had been burned did not cover the guarantee).
For those experiences with the guarantee and support we had the owner he gave up updating it and bought in 2010 the carscan. It gave us very good results. In addition, every time I call with a post -sale support and knew how to answer my questions. (Sergio if your scanner is in guarantee I understand that they charged you for solving the problem it had).
Today we have 2 colleagues in the area who have one the SPC and another the DEC and sometimes bring us their cars to scan them (many new VW, Vento, Passat, Tiguan, Mercedes Benz, and other high -end cars), therefore I know that carscan diagnoses cars that others cannot enter.
We must not generalize or tampooco defenestra to the scanners because for more complete they say it is ... always a vehicle cannot read it (I clarify that I have used the DEC, Carscan, SPC, Bosch, Launch and Rasther). It is my humble opinion based on my experience using Scanenr of many brands.
From my experience with Carscan covers the car park that we repair here in Pilar, Bs As.
Greetings colleagues
