Change in a 2002 Honda Civic

The question is the following, a friend has a Honda Civic of 2002 and among other things has the annoying change and has ruled out the repair in a workshop because it would be more expensive than what the car costs. We have achieved a change of scrapping at a good price and once put in work it seems that we are choking the change, I have looked in the workshop manual on this page and swear that I have not seen how to get it out.
