Manual-Mecanica response on the subject as diagnosing water pumps
Hello, I also have the mechanics as a hobby and I am not a professional in this, but I have seen that to know if the pump is to die they take the pulley and move it radially to verify the game that has or wear between the axis and the bushing if it is much it is better to change it before it begins to lose water and can cause greater damage. The other is the noise, it begins to sound as if it were scraping something and finally lose water through the axis or a despiche they have in the lower part of the body of the pump when they are bad. I hope it helps you in something and if anyone knows more than us who advises us.

Well, Malabu is right, that is the way of check, in general, check the pump is a bit complicated, usually one looks more at the symptoms that the vehicle presents, if you tell us that vehicle is and what problem you have you want to want to help you better, because there are water pumps that are of plastic praises and do not put noise or anything.

Ok thanks to the two I have already solved the problem and the way in which the check was removed the hoses of the heating and putting a bucket in them and that way you realize the circulation of the water if there is not such because the fault is indeed in the pump
and in this way you do not have to be

That of the pumps if it is pool ... I can only add that I apply the useful life that it must have according to the mileage of use if the owner knows that information ... but Malabu is right and they are the primordial ones ..
