Manual-Mecanica Response on the Distribution Ford Focus 1.6 DCI
Hello everyone yesterday, buy the New Water Pump and also the distribution kit will mount everything new Tensioner Roller Guia and the Correa I do not want to have to disassemble everything for some more unforeseen since it is more the work and the inconvenience of not having a car than what all the kit is worth. I already need to put the tapas and try. This afternoon I will finish it.
Grcias for your advice.
Greetings and happy holidays.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Distribution Ford Focus 1.6 DCI
Hello again, I already have the water pump and the distribution kit (tensor and roller guide) mounted in the end I also put the new belt as well since what is worth not wanting to risk since it costs more to mamade everything to change it than what is worth it. Well I already have the car well for another good season I also put the antifreeze new.
Thank you all.

No manufacturer allows you to rotate the engine in the opposite direction to the operation. I recommend that you disassemble everything again and just turn in the sense of operation. By turning in the opposite the tensioner you can vary and does not perform its function well (it is not common, but it can be given the case), and you can make a tooth the draft of the distribution with the appearance of noise, lack of power, without making any damage in the engine.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Distribution Ford Focus 1.6 DCI
When I changed the pump, the engine was heated again and all the marks coincided and the engine turned several times without starting the engine and without turning it back until it assures me that it was well draft, do not start it. At the moment the car works well I have already done a few km.
thank you.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Distribution Ford Focus 1.6 DCI
Very good I am pleased to be able to help you and I hope that my little contribution will serve you and stay calm with your problem.
So you seem that the distribution you have not left well ready, if you changed the distribution strap, tensioning rollers and guides and also the water pump with its corresponding joint, you must control the tuning of the engine to see if the engine is well synchronized.
First you must put the first engine cylinder in the PMS control the engine synchronization marks and block the engine with something so that you do not move, in this section loosen the tensioner of the dentate belt of the distribution, marks the belt with a chalk in the direction of the belt to return it again and re -make the corresponding settings.
You can re -assemble the same dent strap again since it recently mounted and has a few kilometers. First cylinder you should not turn contrary to the direction of rotation of the engine because the tensioning value of the belt would be wrong and you are exposed to you can break it and skip a tooth of the distribution .... greetings and luck
