No advantages that I know if anyone knows any to say it.

The height of the tree cams are already calculated by the manufacturer for optimal engine performance, altering them would be to risk piston damage or valves as Igryo tells you and most likely that instead of getting power it is reduced, it better removes all the possible reduction in the intake air entry, if your problem is wear, it is better to change the camshaft.
