I do not know what engine you have but if it is the one I think the engine is looking at the inmedy chain to the left. The chain housing covers it but if you look on the right side of the vehicle at medium height you will see the pump.

What I would do: Gasoil's entrance to the pump put a transparent sleeve and the next day I would tell someone to tear it out and you look if there are air bubbles in the sleeve that will tell you if the pump is discharged and you can discard if it is fuel before disassembling.
