Front Traction Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends, I need to consult me. In my Ford Focus Ghia 2.0 L Duratec, 2006, you feel a buzz at the height of the right front train. I made the cash oil review and told me that it is fine, that it was not necessary to change it. The manual speaks of a front traction set whose oil is usually contaminated when water enters at a cross or flood crossing, something very common in the rainy days in this city.
I took the car to an oil company and the employee did not know about that front traction set, therefore I could not verify its lubrication.
If someone can tell me how I place that set and if I must necessarily take it to a mechanic or simply in an oil company they can have access to it.
Of course, thank you very much.

Daniel

I think you talk about the front differential that is sealed and lubricates with the gearbox oil.
There are the palieres that give strength to the front wheels.
I tell you if the noise is the plane type of the second world gerra and it happens to you on the right side, it is bearing of the wheel yes or yes. On the other hand if the noise is a squeak or similar is a tensioner of the alternator strap or a/a or some of that.

Anyway, I talk about the European version although if you say it is a front TRATION, it will not be very different.

The noise I referred to was similar to a gear without lubrication. Tomorrow I will take him to a mechanic because the noise has increased and worries me a lot. Thanks for your generous answer. As soon as I know what the problem was, I will expose it in the forum.

Friends, to close the subject, which is already solved, I tell you:
the buzz referred to in my consultation was transformed into a different noise and the consequence was the total destruction of the main engine of the engine and therefore, the engine, in an abnormal situation, caused poor traction, verifiable when entering the first marches, when the engine demanded more effort. Now the engine is a silk.
Thank you very much, Igryo and Pepeivan, for their estimated participation.

My hug.
