Hall effect sensor posted by manual-mecanica
Good morning, it is the first time I write in this forum, I need your valuous help, if someone can guide me it is this problem, I have a 92 1.8 liter 4-cylinder model, which does not start because the current does not reach the hall sensor, which has an harness of 3 terminals which are land-pole-corner, the current cable goes directly to the computer in the pin number 8 according to the diagram of the number 8 Digifan II, my question is whether the computer is the one that must send the voltage to the sensor or vice versa? I clarify that when you put direct voltage of the battery the car starts without problems, thank you very much for the information you can provide, greetings

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Hall effect sensor
You have + that enters the hall sensor,- that enters the sensor and the cable that is in medium takes a signal, normally to an electronic or switchboard <-depending on the injunction system.

That module would send negative to the coil and the coil amplifies it.

The switchboard should send to the current +sensor, if you are connected as you say.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Hall effect sensor
You usually have 12 reference volts, 5 volts of input signal and the signal that returns to the PCM but this signal can only be checked with an oscilloscope set this article that deals with this topic www.autoavance.co/blog-tecnico-automotri...Olocity-effect-Hall
