Hello good, I have a slightly big doubt.

A friend and I are restoring and improving a Renault Clio 16S and we have decided to attach an assisted address.

The steering box is from a Renault Kangoo 1.9D and not to subtract the engine power and avoid the madness of looking for a place to host a hydraulic pump dragged by the engine itself, we decided to install an electric hydraulic pump of a Peugeot 106 1.4 of gasoline.

And the problem is that neither he nor do we know how to electrically connect it to the installation of the car and I do not know how to mount the hydraulic circuit or attach it to the steering box. I say this because I have seen cars that carry a kind of pressure sensor in one of the hydraulic tubes and I do not know if this piece is necessary or not ...

well I hope you can solve this doubt !!

Greetings to all the foreros and lovers like me of mechanics !!

The electric pump needs a rotation sensor that goes in the direction steering wheel.

The normal direction pump injects liquid always only that comes out for a leftover spot that toured for one side helps you to that side and so.

If you put the electric that works for the coastal pull, it will leave you dry battery.

You have the new Seat and Volswagen to appear from the year 2007 more or less have an electrical direction without liquid.

It is compact in a sensor motor block, feed 12 Vy works.

Being a Renault Clio put a pump with a strap in the engine that does not subtract almost na of power.

I think the pump if I remember correctly has a return to the tank and if, the battery will be eaten but well ... we will see ... and the mechanical pump dragged by the engine, I see it a bit difficult, because the 1.8 16v engine has everything very imprisoned and compacted and already in itself, take out the engine from the car or put a hand to repair the dogs by not having space to put the hand to put the hand to put the hand to put the hand to put the hand to put the hand ...
