Greetings to all.

I have the following problem with my Lancer GLX 1.5 4G15, synchronous, carburated; When I try to take some climb of about 20 0 30 degrees, the car begins to lose strength and if I try to accelerate it to compensate for the loss, it begins to jump or pulls, if at that time I stop the car is normal and if I try to start it again it seems that the engine is drowning and then does not turn on. In other words, I have changed the full clutch, spark plugs and cables and the engine is repaired 3 months ago and the fault is recent. I repeat that I only give me this failure to upload, I like the help you can provide.

Hello Amenyaro, if you say it is carburated, when climbing very strong slopes, the level of the carburetor tank can overflow and drown the engine, to solve it you must reduce the level, according to what type of carburetor, the float has an Apollo tongue to close the needle valve, act on it, bend colandolamuy little, as a mm. Greetings!!

Thanks for your contribution Ismael53, I really haven't had time to check ... In fact I have to wait until January because I plan to buy the carburetor repair kit and the self -supposed stores are closed all ... there is something that puts me to doubt and that is when it gives it the failure; With the neutral engine keeps the minimum, I revolutionize it and do it well, but I immediately want to start and hit the garrotera.

SLDS.

Greetings Amenyaro, I think this lancer has a membrane carburetor?

Hi Amenyaro.
In addition to Ismael's advice it would be convenient to review the progress of the spark, it could be advanced a bit. You don't tell us if you have smoke when the fault occurs. Also check valve calibration.
LUCK
