Scania 113 posted by Manual-Mecanica
I am changing the air compressor of a scania 113, I take it out to place a new one, this comes without the gear of the tip so I must take out what I have in the buy. old . He is tight and I don't know what to bring him to make strength. I prepare it in a morza with wooden tacos and equal to strength is turned. I don't want to give it more until you break or deform the gear. With what tool is this gear taken? Thank you very much for your answer.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Scania 113
Hello, disassemble the cover from the old compressor and then with a taco or something similar, the crankshaft brakes and you will have no problem disassembling the nut. For the new one you do the same or brake the pinion between the jaws with two wooden tacos. Greetings.
