Hi Marlon, the only thing that occurs to me is that if being standing, you tread and lower the rpm: the primary of the box changes goes "hard", the caudalimetro note loads and keeps the idle a little high, until you step on the clut change) as well as the lubrication of change (density of the valvulina, level..etc ..), I say, another does not occur to me ... Look to see if "go" if you release the handbrake without any march ... greetings !!!

That happened to me with a Citroen and it was the tuning that was not quite well open (a tooth run) and happened to me with a Nissan and it was the compensator of the hydraulic direction, but since the Civic 87 does not have it you can have any problem in the carburetor or in Starter of Relay.
