Hello

, if the tacometer signal is sent in the form of pulses (0V- 5V for example) it would be relatively easy to make a program that would tell those pulses and use that data to obtain the revolutions per minute of the engine. RPM could be displayed on a small 16*2 LCD screen.
The problem is that I do not know mechanics

and it is not clear to me where to take the signal that comes out of the distributor. I understand that within the distributor is the camshaft position sensor (PAL) that detects the engine rotation speed by means of the rotor plate, it produces pulses which are sent to the ECM. Apparently it is at the terminal number three of the ECM harness connector where the tacomethar signal comes out (or is it in this connector to where the distributor signal reaches the ECM?)
Doubts:
1 Where to take the signal for Tacometer
2 What voltage values take this signal? (0V-5V, 0V-12V ....)
Thank you for your help in advance.
