The new Toyota Aygo arrives, a new version of Toyota's small utility even more customizable and youth.

If something defines the new Toyota Aygo, it is the ability to change its appearance both outside and interior, in a short time, even years after buying it, with the 'exterior' interior 'packs. There are two of each of them, which allow to vary the appearance of the body and the cabin.

New Aygo, New Motorization

The new Toyota Aygo includes an improved version of the three-cylinder VVT-I gasoline engine and a liter of Toyota displacement, with 69 hp of power.

Numerous reviews have improved benefits and have contributed to a decrease in fuel consumption, which goes from 4.3 to 4.1 l/100 km on average, also lowering CO2 emissions in 4 g/km up to only 95 g/km. This 69 hp engine can be associated with a manual gearbox or an automated manual transmission 'X-Shift'.

 

The equipment of the new Toyota Aygo

All versions of the new Toyota Aygo have a series of six airbags, diurnal circulation lights - 'Daytime Running Lights' (DRL) - of LED technology, stability control - 'Vehicle Stability Control' (VSC) -, Slope for slope starting and AM/FM sound equipment with USB and Aux connections.

The Aygo range is articulated around the 'X-Play' finish, which includes fog lights, 15-inch alloy wheels and 'X-Touch' multimedia system. This version is the starting point for any customization option, and also the basis of the special editions 'X-Cite' and 'X-Clusiv'.

The finished offer is completed with the basic model 'X', with the matt black front grill and 14 -inch steel wheels. The new Toyota Aygo has 10 different types of alloy wheels, with four different designs and three colors to choose from.

Among the optional equipment that the new Toyota Aygo can wear, the Multimedia 'X-Touch' system stands out, which allows you to control various vehicle systems through a seven-inch touch screen. Through it you can control connectivity with smart mobile phones (smartphones) via 'mirrorlink'. This device allows to replicate the phone screen in the Aygo to have access to different applications.

A little history of Toyota Aygo

The first generation of Toyota Aygo was launched in 2005. In its nine years of life, only 760,000 units have been sold in Europe. Nine years later the new Aygo arrives, manufactured at the Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile (TPCA) plant in Kolin (Czech Republic).

Aygo's second generation will be available in Spain from next November. The basic model will cost € 9,000.
