Renault has presented EOLAB, an ultra reduced consumption prototype (1L/100 km), which emits only 22 grams of CO2 per kilometer in a mixed cycle.

To achieve these figures, Renault EOLAB designers have used lighter materials such as aluminum and magnesium, have improved aerodynamics (including mobile equipment such as a spoiler and lateral flaps that are deployed) and have used the "Ze Hybrid" technology, an unpublished system that allows you to circulate with "zero emissions" in the daily paths of less than 60 km and up to 120 km km/h.

In fact, the use of magnesium in the roof of the new Renault prototype, has made the weight of this structure reduce to only 4kg.

In addition, EOLAB intends to be an affordable vehicle that allows all people to access a reduced consumption vehicle. For this reason there is the possibility that Renault will be manufactured in a large series in a period of less than 10 years.
