On September 19, the auction will begin, which will last 10 days and will be open to puppets from all over Europe, including Russia, Türkiye and Israel.
Volvo Trucks will donate the proceeds to Star for Life, a South African NGO whose purpose is to reduce in number of seropositive among the school age population. In the spring of 2013 the winner will be invited to South Africa, where he will deliver the donation in person.
"With this auction we intend to raise as much money as possible for the Star for Life program," says Claes Nilsson, president of Volvo Trucks Emea Sales & Global Brand.
The new auctioned Volvo FH is a unique truck, highly equipped with an exclusive emblem of "Number One" on the windshield.
