The Hybrid4 denomination designates the hybridization of a thermal engine (a 2.0 L HDI FAP of 120 kW / 163 hp) with an electric motor of a maximum power of 27 kW (37 hp). The low level of fuel consumption evidently influences the economic equation of the cost of ownership of 3008 Hybrid4. But its reduced CO2 emission figures are especially that allow not paying registration tax, which for example represents a 9.75% reduction against the 2.0 HDI engine 163 CV automatic. In this way, its ecological advantage is generally transformed into an economic plus for companies and individuals. Hybridization allows, in this case, to offer company fleets an innovative, high and high value vehicle at the same cost as a car equipped with a lower thermal engine motor. In addition, financial aid can be offered to 3,000 euros according to the Autonomous Community.

The 3008 Hybrid4 will be manufactured in France (in Sochaux and in Mulhouse, where the hybrid rear axle is mounted) and will be marketed in the fall of 2011.
