Volkswagen presents the first Gti Cabriolet in golf history in Geneva.
Thanks to its powerful GTI engine of 155 kW / 210 hp, the four -seater convertible becomes the most powerful golf cabriolet of all time.
The Golf Gti Cabriolet accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, reaches a maximum speed of 237 km/h (DSG: 235 km/h) and offers excellent consumption rates and CO2 emissions only 7.6 l/100 km and 177 g/km respectively (DSG: 7.7 l/100 km and 180 g/km CO2).
The design reflects the typical distinctive features of the GTI. The exterior of the new Volkswagen is characterized by details such as the grid with bee nest, red profiles and the GTI emblem, the front GTI bumper, a new rear diffuser, the chrome exhaust pipes, the LED rear headlights, widened strokes and light alloy wheels of 17 inches of the type "Denver".
Inside, sports seats, upholstered with the classic "Jacky" pictures, identify the convertible as GTI model. The canvas hood is integrated into the basic construction of conventional golf cabriolet. The new model equips an electrohydraulic opening system of standard that opens the capota in just 9.5 seconds, even while the vehicle circulates at a maximum speed of 30 km/h.
