It is the edition of the 21st century, and after its world premiere on three luxury stages in Shanghai, Berlin and New York, Volkswagen now presents Beetle, which will arrive on the Spanish market in the month of November. With new and broader proportions, but maintaining its classic lines, the new Beetle is willing to conquer the hearts of those drivers who seek the exclusivity and emotionality of a model with an unique personality. His image, more sporty and robust than that of his predecessor, will make him insurance, into the center of attention.
The new Beetle will be available in our market in two versions, Design and Sport, each with a very personal character. The Design version is designed for the most nostalgic and wants to honor the mythical "beetle." With a wide range of colors, this version takes care of the interior with details such as the famous dashboard and the inner side of the doors in the same body color, and chrome applications that create a pleasant atmosphere and provide a "retro" touch.
The Sport version opts to enhance the dynamism and the most sporty slope of the new Beetle. Its outdoor design presents details of luxury sports, such as 17 -inch light alloy wheels, protective moldings or rear wing. The interior, stands out for its functionality and security.
But also this new Beetle incorporates the most advanced driving aid technologies and a complete equipment aimed at improving comfort. Serial equips systems such as ESP, multifunction steering wheel, bi-zone air conditioning and bluetooth. Among the wide range of options are the Park Pilot parking distance warning, the latest CD radio and radio-navigation systems, the practicable panoramic sliding roof and the Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime light. In addition, this Beetle is also the first to optionally have Keyless Access closing system with Press & Drive.
For the launch, the new Beetle will be available with the 77 kW / 105 hp TSI engines for the design version with manual exchange, and TSI of 147 kW / 200 hp of power with DSG for the Sport version. Later, in the first half of 2012 the 160 hp and TDI 140 hp in Manual and DSG engines will be launched. The TSI 200 will also be available with manual change and the 105 hp TDI engine.
In addition, as of September a very exclusive limited edition will be launched in the Spanish market, the Beetle Turbo Black & White, of which 60 units, 30 blank and 30 in black will be marketed.
