Hello everyone, my problem is that the velocimetro of my jetta vr6 97 does not work is stuck at zero, there are times that if I work the car and when I turn it on it they no longer work either the velocimeter or the tacometer, I would like to see if they can help me solve the problem if it is a fuse or some sensor ... I am desperate : Woohoo:

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problems with Tacometer and Velocimeter
You do not say the year of your jetta, depending on that, the action to be taken, but because of the velocimetter in new vehicles it is commanded by a speed sensor, the tacometer is usually commanded by the alternator or some comment of high revolution, in general it is not mechanical if not electrical the problem.

The year of my jetta is 1997, the problem will be electric, you could tell me in which part the censors that you tell me are located, you have no illustrations or something,

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problems with Tacometer and Velocimeter
Hello, I have a similar problem, but I have a mitsubishi lancer 1997. My problem is generated after circulating for 30 minutes, or when I leave the car in the sun for a long time: blink:
evidently the heat dilates something that leaves me without speedometer, the tachometer and the odometer
