Bomba direction fault? Posted by manual-mecanica
Hello friends, I have a problem with a VW Passat 1900 AVF of 2001, when I turn to the top it seems that the steering pump grabs, it shows how you throw, the tensioner hits tremendous jumps and the belt makes a very annoying noise (patína).
I have changed the tensioner and the belt but it is still the same, tomorrow I go changing the oil if it improves.

I want to only lack hydraulic oil, check the level, I also recommend that you check the bearings you want to some dry or struggle.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Bomba direction fault?
Oil does not miss, remove the strap and the pump goes quite soft, it does not seem to have problems in the bearings, today I realized that it is going well, and when the noise is heated a little, and only when I turn to the top. I have changed the oil and it is still the same, I do not know if the pump will be wrong or if it has any return valve that does not work well and that is why it makes noise when I turn to the fullest.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Bomba direction fault?
Hello 77Marius
if you have a safety valve, usually in the same pump, when the pressure increases because you have reached the top, the valve triggers the pressure that is regulated, it can be damaged by dirty, due to breakdown of the spring or by bad settlement. Luck.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Bomba direction fault?
Hello friends, because the bomb is not guilty, I just changed it and it has not improved anything, I have to look at the address box. I have looked at Elsawin, but there is no desire in detail, to see the valves it has.
