Good afternoon, I usually follow you and I have decided to register a problem with my car.

I have a Ford Focus TDCI 1.8 115CV, from 2006 with 85000 km.

A month ago, returning from a long journey, on the highway, the temperature needle was stopped, stopped, and returned to its place, so 2 times, I did not give importance, I did not throw water and apparently the car was fine, it is more, when I uploaded the temperature I stomp Whole needle.

The needle continues to do the silly ... The 2 weeks already break the heating sleeve, they told me the bosch that the previous sleeve was defective, and they put another one.

This morning, a week later, the needle has continued to falsify, this morning, and the water had come down a little, it is true that when the cap opened, it rose to the minimum. I have taken him to the workshop, the sleeve now does not lose anything, nor does he pull anything, they have reviewed the water pressure and everything ok and nobody knows what can happen, they told me that the circuit is likely to have air, but I did not trust me, since these types of cars are purged alone. In fact, I left the workshop, I gave him some cane on a pronounced slope and the same, he rose to almost 120, and when raising he returned to his normal temperature with the same speed he rose.

Anyone knows what can happen ??, I thank you in advance for interest and answers. Thank you so much.

Good compete, the only thing that occurs to me is that the thermostat is not opening and closing properly, I suggest you as a quick proof that you take away the thermostat mommentaneously, start the ship and give you a few laps to see if it changes something.

The temperature bulb could be defective that sends the signal to the clock or the clock itself, it is a good idea as WTO says to take the thermostat to see what happens, you have to check that the fan between acting correctly.

Look at checking the electro fan. It can become that it is not working properly. In most cars, the electro has 2 speeds, if it does not go down, then when it lifts more temperature lights the second speed and then the temp. You can check this with the stopped vehicle, you let it heat and when it is at normal temperature you see if the electro starts, if it does not work and continues to rise, and starts when it reaches more than 100 ° in high speed, then the first speed does not work.
