UNICUB represents the evolution of the U3-X, a personal mobility device that Honda announced in 2009.

UNI-CUB allows the driver to control the speed, move in any direction or turn and stop, in a way as simple as modifying body weight. Thanks to this, the UNI-CUB can be used to move in urban environments, where it is necessary to be able to maneuver quickly and easily among people. In addition, the compact form of UNI-CUB allows the driver to support the legs on the ground and maintain a comfortable height (at the level of the eyes of other pedestrians).

During this month of June, Honda will begin with the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation of Japan the testing of UNI-CUB. This project will explore the flexibility of use in interior spaces and the practical applications of the device in a wide range of environments, both in Japan and in other countries.
