From the mixture of the Nissan Juke and the Nissan GT-R, the Nissan Juke-R is born.

Although the model is in the development phase, the unequivocal aspect of Nissan Juke is clearly appreciated. The assembly of wide wheel steps, front and rear bumpers redesigned and a large rear wing makes it very clear that we are not facing the serial crossover. This is a Juke who believes is a GT-R and has good reasons for it. Anyway, this will not be a series production car but a single car, approved to circulate by road, developed by Nissan and built by the leading company in the development of RML competition with the support of the Nissan Technical Center in Europe (Nissan Technical Center for Europe - NTC -E).

Under the hood we find the V6 double turbo engine and 3.8 liters that moves the flagship of Nissan sportsmen; The GT-R, while, under the chassis, the transaxle transmission of six relationships of GT-R itself is hidden. The axes are also those of the GT-R although conveniently modified to adapt the 4WD transmission to the Juke's dimensions. A shocking 20 -inch rays forged aluminum rays completely fill the car wheel steps.

The interior mixes with subtlety aspects of the crossover and the supercar. The Juke dashboard has been modified to be able to accommodate the controls, the instrumentation and the seven-inch LCD screen with the programmable information of the GT-R. The iconic central juke console, inspired by motorcycle fuel deposits, remains in place but the rest of the cabin looks like that of a competition car. We also find two racing seats with harnesses of five anchor points and a safety structure that meets the FIA specifications in addition to giving the car the stiffness plus according to their high performance.

"The Nissan Juke is currently one of the most attractive cars in the market. Its daring Crossover design has managed to captivate the imagination of customers throughout Europe to the point that only one year after the start of its commercialization, we celebrate that we have already sold more than 100,000 units," explains Paul Willcox, Vice Senior President, sales and marketing for Nissan in Europe.

"Juke justifies by itself the existence of a sports derivative and the Juke-R explores this possibility. His good behavior, both on the road and on track, makes Juke-R the perfect union of two of the most exciting cars of our current range and highlights the technical innovation that Nissan makes. This car goes far beyond the dynamic driving experience with which our engineers give all our cars."
