Honda announced that he has recently developed the "Intelligent and Ecological Painting Honda (Honda Se Paint)", a highly functional painting technology that eliminates the 4 -layer coating process and reduces it to 3 layers. Honda will present this new painting technology at its Yorii Saitama plant in Japan, where this technique is planned to be operated in July 2013.
By eliminating the medium coating process, the number of paint colors that could be used was restricted, however, Honda exceeded this challenge by developing a material for the color base layer used in the final coating process. This material used for the color base layer makes it possible to use any color for outer paint. This has been achieved the first painting process in the 3 -layer automobile industry.
On the other hand, Honda will introduce a robotic paint system, with a built -in fast charging system / fast paint tank. This will lead to a significant improvement in the efficiency of the painting process, the reduction of the number of paint materials and a reduction of processing of 40%. As a result, the amount of CO2 issued during the paint process is reduced by 40%.
