Škoda returns to its origins. The brand, which began in the 1890s manufacturing bicycles, presents the range that it will market during this year.
The new range of 2012 bicycles includes seven models, all of green and white, for different types of use and ages. The image of bicycles evokes the new and fresh corporate design of the brand.
The 2012 range is manufactured in collaboration with the 'upper' bicycle brand. The road cyclists will opt for the ŠKODA 'Road' of only 8.4 kilos with an aluminum and carbon fork. Outside the asphalt, bicycle fans can choose between the ŠKODA 'MTB' model or the ŠKODA 'MTB Full' with a frame with total suspension. The škoda 'Cross' is the versatile bicycle of the 2012 range. All these ŠKODA models incorporate a front fork with blockable suspension and are available in three sizes.
Škoda Auto also has small cyclists in mind. The older ones can pedal on the ŠKODA 'MTB-Junior', which is adapted for a child, but who has all the technology of adult bicycles. This includes a blockable front fork and a 21 -speed change. Even the little ones can pedal on two wheels with the Škoda 'Kid'. Finally, Škoda has also thought about the little ones in the house with the new Škoda 'Mini' learning bike, developed in collaboration with Olpran bicycle manufacturer.
Manufacturers are launched into the bicycle segment
such as Škoda Other manufacturers have launched their own bicycle segment. BMW, Renault, Peugeot, Cadillac, Mini, Land Rover, Chevrolet, Pontiac or Porsche, are some of the examples.
