GT Academy competition , promoted by PlayStation® and Nissan, already has three Spanish representatives who will go to the European Silverstone Camp during the month of September. Miguel Ballester, Daniel Consuegra and Óscar Ruiz were the three winning pilots of an exciting national end that was held in Madrid.
To the final, which took place last weekend, the 14 best national players of Gran Turismo® attended. On Saturday the competition began with the explanatory talk, followed by a very close virtual driving competition with the simulators of Gran Turismo® who classified the nine fastest pilots.
Already on the Sunday day, the nine finalists put their skills in virtual driving to the pla.station®3 controls again. First a qualifying round was played, which left three pilots out. Six were the participants who accessed the next phase of the national final.
Miguel Ballester, Maksim Hashuk, Daniel Consuegra, Óscar Ruiz, Nabil Khoury and Javier Dévora were the classified. First, 'one' one 'with Gran Turismo® 5 were played to elucidate the classification order in the virtual test.
