Nissan has decided to reduce € 3,000 the price of 100% electric Nissan Leaf, in European markets. In addition to this reduction in the factory price, customers can also benefit from financing offers in local markets. The price change will be applied imminently before the arrival in the middle of the year of an updated version of the Nissan Leaf.

In Spain, after the reduction of € 3,000 and without knowing even if the Government of Spain will relaunch the PIVE Plan in 2013, the vehicle will be sold to € 33,900. The Nissan Leaf can be acquired with a monthly fee of € 299 thanks to the guarantee of the residual value that Nissan establishes in € 16,055. Customers who want to benefit from this offer must pay an entry of € 11,777. After 3 years, the customer can choose between returning the vehicle to Nissan to change it for a new Nissan Leaf or another brand model or refinance the final quota.

The Nissan Leaf was awarded "car of the year in the world, Europe and Japan", when it was launched in 2011. Since then it has sold about 50,000 units in the world. The new Nissan Leaf, which is being manufactured at the European plant in Sunderland, the United Kingdom, is expected to go on sale in the spring of 2013.
