Neon 96 Stops by Manual-Mecanica
My neon 96 of a single camshaft starts normal and works without problems for 15 minutes. Upon reaching normal operating temperature, the engine stops. The ignition coils (primary and secondary) have the same values both in cold and when the fault (measured in OHMS) appears. But when the fault appears the coil that feeds cylinders 1 and 4 do not leave outpiece for spark plugs. I have no chance of checking with computer. Can it be some of the sensors (crankshaft, camshaft, etc.) or is the computer distrusted?

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Neon 96 stops
It looks like a short in the high school of the 1 and 4. Think it, if there was a failure in a sensor, the fault witness would turn on at the time, in addition, the other two spark plugs that are fed by the other coil (2 and 3) do give spark ...

do one thing, change the phase coils, that is, high cables of 1 and 4 to the coil of 2 and 3 1 and 4 to the other coil.

In this way if I am right the engine will start equally but when it stops it will run out of spark on the 2 and 3 ok? So you will know if it is that you have one of the bad coils.

Sometimes cold or when the tension does not exceed a value, the spark occurs without problems, but when they dilate the temperature is when the arches appear within the same turns of the high coil, producing sparks without strength and ignition failures. When they cool they work again.

Greetings and if you have any questions you just have to post it or send me a private.
