[Solved] CLOSURE OPEL CORSA VITA '97 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Good,

the first thing I mean that I have been sucking manuals (not many) for many years and I wanted to thank the work you do. The truth, I am a denied in mechanics, but thanks to the manuals that I have gone from here I have been able to do some silly little thing, or at least know something about what they had to do in the workshop.

Today I am going to release a problem that I have not been able to solve with manuals or internet search, but I am sure it is a tontá.

I count the long story (since I write little, that you notice effort) and in the end summary for those who do not have time: D

it turns out that a friend has given us her brand new Opel Corsa of 1997. Ibaa will take it to the scrapping and it was agreed that my girl was going after a coach for the errands.

The car is rude, but walks, so grateful !! And all for the cost of the papers.

Well today I have gone to change the tape radius for one of CDS/MP3/etc that I had in the storage room ... 2h to fight because I did not enter or lubricate !! I have given a thousand turns until I have managed to place the connector pineapple, but well, well, there is already 'Arradio' in conditions.

As a second and last step I have filled them with water and there comes the problem.

When I closed the hood I saw it as weird. Shot, and opens, tightened and closes ... Do not hook the spike at the close !!!

I have been able to look little because I had to go to work, but it gives me that the closing mechanism has been broken. The cable is fine, or at least it reaches the end, but without time to disassemble and without knowing what the mechanism is, I have no idea what could happen or if a mittens like me can solve it at home.

And now the promised question and summary.

The closure of the hood has been annoyed and the spike is not hooked. The cable reaches the end, so I understand that it has not broken. In the manual that I have achieved, reference is not made to the mechanism.
Can anyone pass me any scheme/manual/drawing of it? Can the change be done with few knowledge, without specific tools, and at home? The piece comes out new or scratch?

Thank you very much to those who read this, and a lot thanks to those who respond.

All the best!

Manual-Mecanica Response on the topic CLAKE CORSA VITA '97
I am self -respond. After seeing in several manuals that there was no reference to the mechanism as such, but in all to the length of the spike that enters (each one said a TB measure is true) it occurred to me that it could be the problem/solution. So after curing I lowered a moment, I laughed two laps (so it is "longer") and voila !!
